Starting this month, Lambton officially joins the national network of MyCreds™, a digital document service provided by the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC).
The new initiative will act as a virtual wallet for Lambton students, allowing them to securely access and share digitized academic documents online from anywhere in the world.
The move towards a digital document strategy falls in line with Lambton’s commitment to support students in a modernized, digital learning environment. The provision of a secure online platform allows graduates and students to easily access and share digitized transcripts, credentials, and confirmation of graduation. Lambton College will also be the first in Canada to issue micro-credential badges via the MyCreds™ digital wallet as well.

The newly launched platform gives students private online access to their individual records as well as the authorization to share their information when and where needed. Documents and credentials issued through the portal can be easily and securely shared with employers, government, institutions and other third parties.
The initiative aims to support student mobility as they transition beyond Lambton while protecting both students and the College from increasing incidents of document fraud. Other benefits of the platform include 24-7 access for learners and bilingual support in French and English.
Lambton students and graduates will be able to access their personal digital wallets starting April 27th, 2021.
MyCreds™ is a national, shared service and platform that provides students and graduates access to a secure, online, password protected learner credential wallet. This virtual wallet allows them to view and share their verified and official transcripts, credentials, and academic documents in a digitized format on a 24/7 basis – anytime, anywhere. It enables peer-to-peer official document and data sharing between issuing organizations such as colleges and universities.
