Trust Matters

ARUCC logo

ARUCC, the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada, owns MyCreds™, which is a trusted network of recognized institutions and organizations. Membership is not automatic and the first step in the process is to apply for membership in ARUCC; the next step involves ARUCC approving the college, university or organization to become a member of MyCreds™. After that, approved members are onboarded.

Approved members include recognized Canadian colleges, universities, application centres, provincial hubs, and other trusted credential issuers that work to support students moving into, between and beyond Canadian post-secondary institutions. By establishing direct exchange between trusted organizations and ensuring a learner provides their permission to share a document or credential, ARUCC is demonstrating a commitment to learners and maintaining the quality of the Canadian higher education brand.

What MyCreds™ Offers

What Digitized Documents and Credentials are Available?

The documents available to learners really depends on the college, university or issuing body. For example, a college or university could load official offers of admission, enrolment confirmations, diplomas and micro-credentials. Badges are also available. International documents to support admission of learners into Canadian institutions and organizations are also an option.

Let’s not forget about Data Security

MyCreds™ is powered by Digitary, an international document issuing organization that stores learner documents securely. Their documents and underlying data remain fully under a member’s control. Only the learner, the member which includes the learner’s former college and/or university, and whomever the learner chooses, access these documents.
