Why Become a Receiving Organization

Are you receiving lots of documents from learners via email from MyCreds™?

Are you interested in having a secure portal environment to have a fast lookup and be notified when updates occur to documents?

Do you have a continuous stream of learners and need a more comprehensive system to manage verification of their documents?

ARUCC’S MyCreds™ offers a comprehensive portal to enable management of incoming learner records directly from issuing colleges, universities and organizations. Our goal is to enable fast and efficient learner-specific retrieval of official student documents.

Becoming set up as a receiving organization is quick and easy. Receiving organizations are provisioned with their own unique MyCreds™ receiver portal, allowing learners to send their documents directly to the organization on the network at the touch of a button. MyCreds™ receiver portals permit fast sorting of documents, easy lookup and retrieval, and efficient document workflow processing.

What it Means to Be a Receiver

Becoming a MyCreds™ Receiver means that your organization will be able to receive credentials directly in a private portal.

You will be provisioned with a portal environment to allow full document management, including sorting, filtering and alerts when new or updated documents arrive.

You can access documents directly from the institution’s controlled and secure cloud environment, rather than receiving emails with links to the documents from MyCreds™. Learners cannot alter these documents and can only view and share them.

You can be listed as a registered organization on the Network so that learners can specifically choose your organization and even type in their applicant number or other required fields if that is needed by your team.

How to Become a Receiving Organization

FOR CANADIAN INSTITUTIONS AND ORGANIZATIONS

As a receiving organization, you will be able to receive documents from anywhere in Digitary’s world-wide network, including the MyCreds™ National Network, Digitary CORE, My eQuals, and CHESICC.

STEP 1. Attend a MyCreds™ demonstration

ARUCC MyCreds™ offers regular demonstrations and info sessions. These sessions are for those new to the Network discussions who would like an overview of the project and platform and wish to see a demonstration. To register for a session, please email info@aruccnationalnetwork.ca

STEP 2. Apply for ARUCC participation

Because we are creating a trusted network, we require that all receiving organizations be approved for ARUCC participation as a first step. This also means we can feature the organization on our website for our learners and community to aid ARUCC’s efforts. To consult ARUCC’s participation fees, visit ARUCC Membership Fees. To apply for ARUCC participation easily online, visit Apply Online or you can email us at info@aruccnationalnetwork.ca.

STEP 3. Be approved for ARUCC participation

Once applied, you will be notified when your ARUCC participation has been approved.

STEP 4. Email us to begin onboarding

Email info@aruccnationalnetwork.ca to get your onboarding started.

STEP 5. Set up MyCreds™ receiver portal

Receiving organizations will be sent a one-page form from MyCreds™ service partner, Digitary, containing all the fields required to configure the receiver portal. Upon completion and review of the form, Digitary will provision you with a receiver portal and your key contacts will be notified when the receiver portal has been activated on the Digitary world-wide network.

We will also add your organization’s description and logo on the ARUCC website and to the Receiver page on the mycreds.ca website.

STEP 6. That’s it.

You’re set up and ready to start receiving documents.

If you are a high volume receiver and wish to set up an API connection, ARUCC will establish a receiver licence for your organization. You may also want to consider becoming an issuing organization.
