University of Regina joins MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ providing virtual credential wallets for their students

Effective immediately all current and former University of Regina students can access their transcripts and Spring 2021 graduates will have their digitized credentials available upon graduation in June. Other official documents will be phased in over time. All student data will remain under the control of the U of R and this information can only be accessed by the U of R, the student, and whomever they share their documents with.

“We are thrilled to see the University of Regina adopt innovative digital technologies and join MyCredsTM as the first institution in Saskatchewan to launch on the National Network,” said Jeff Adams, President of WARUCC (Western Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada). “MyCredsTM  is playing a revolutionary role in supporting students’ success and making digital credentials accessible to all learners across the country.”

All certified documents carry a digital signature that meets or exceeds all legal national and international standards. An authentic document will always have a blue-ribbon symbol which validates that the document has not been altered after it has been downloaded. If a document has been altered or if the digital signature is not authentic, a symbol with a red cross will signify the document is not valid.
