Sheridan partners with MyCreds™ to offer enhanced, secure digital transcript experience

Students and graduates will now have access to a secure, convenient platform to request and manage their digital academic documents

“Effective today, Sheridan College students and alumni will be able to securely request, receive and share digital transcripts through a partnership with digital documentation platform, MyCreds™.

The MyCreds™ platform will offer a more secure, streamlined user experience for all students and alumni who need to request and share transcripts with other educational institutions, employers, or immigration authorities securely and conveniently. Documents issued through MyCreds™ are tamper-evident and cryptographically signed, making them authentic and official.

The MyCreds™ virtual credential wallet will integrate with Sheridan’s existing student self-service portal, allowing students and alumni to request a transcript through Sheridan’s myStudent Centre. They can then easily set up a secure virtual credential wallet for their academic credentials through the MyCreds™ platform, and share the transcripts as necessary. The secure virtual credential wallet will give users better control over who they share their records with, and for how long. Sheridan’s partnership with MyCreds™ begins with digital transcript requests, and the college will later expand the virtual credential wallet functionality to support requests for enrolment letters and more.
