Red Deer Polytechnic to Issue Official Digital Documents Through MyCreds™

Through a new partnership with the Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (ARUCC), RDP students and graduates will receive and manage their documents through the MyCreds™ platform.

MyCreds provides secure and convenient access to academic documents, allowing students and graduates to share these with other colleges and universities, government, employers and third parties. Documents issued through MyCreds are tamper-evident and cryptographically signed, making them authentic and official.

“The launch of Red Deer Polytechnic on MyCreds illustrates the growing impact of digital service in Alberta,” says Jennifer Crothers, ARUCC Western post-secondary board representative and Associate Vice President, Student Progression and Registrar at NAIT. “Over 50% of Alberta’s colleges and universities, which collectively account for over 80% of post-secondary enrollments within the province, have enthusiastically embraced MyCreds This widespread adoption can be attributed to the platform’s seamless 24/7 service, offering convenient access to official academic documents through a digital wallet. This approach aligns perfectly with the needs of contemporary mobile learners, who often require timely assistance. Kudos to Red Deer Polytechnic for making the leap.”
