Digital transcripts now available to University of Calgary students with ARUCC’s MyCreds™ | MesCertif™

Launched at University of Calgary on May 12, 2021, MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ gives students private online access to their individual records and full control of when and where their information is shared. Documents issued through MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ can be easily and securely shared with employers, government, institutions and other third parties. With approximately 24,000 paper transcripts requested each year, this will be a valuable new option for the university’s 34,000+ students.

Implementing MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ is another step in the university’s ongoing efforts to provide students more convenient and secure online services. The University of Calgary has significantly increased online resources for students over the past year. This has included academic and wellness resources, options for making appointments online, and – now – the ability to instantaneously obtain a digital transcript.

“Seeing another U15 school join MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ represents a solid indicator of support we provide to domestic and international admitted students, learners and graduates,” says Jeff Adams, University Registrar and Executive Director, Enrolment Services, University of Manitoba. “As the President of the Western Association of Registrars of the Universities and Colleges of Canada (WARUCC), I participated in creating MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ and know first-hand its power and the value it will bring to learners and to secure, official peer-to-peer document and credential exchange. We need to do everything we can to recover from COVID quickly and advance sustainable, innovative solutions through shared service models that rapidly move people into our schools and the workforce.”

About MyCreds™ | MesCertif™

MyCreds™ | MesCertif™ credential wallet features 24/7 access for learners to view and share their verified and official transcripts, credentials, and documents in a digitized format. Secure, cryptographically signed documents can be sent conveniently and require no further verification.
