Memorial University, MyCreds™ launch digital credential platform for students, alumni

Ms. Porter continues to say that this new service will allow for students and alumni to quickly obtain official documents anywhere, anytime.

The MyCreds™ National Network now covers all public post-secondary institutions in Newfoundland and Labrador with the launch of Memorial University and the College of the North Atlantic.

MyCreds™ provides tremendous benefits for Memorial students and staff, including:

  • Full autonomy and control: Students have full control over their documents and who their documents are shared with.
  • Reduced academic fraud: Documents issued through the network are authentic, tamper-evident and legally valid.
  • Improved student services: Processing requests and admission decisions can be done faster with automatic digital service.
  • Enhanced student mobility: The ability to exchange academic data digitally and quickly aids faster transfer credit assessments. The process is easier and faster for students with MyCreds™.
  • Supports student and alumni career goals: With all official, verified documents available digitally in their credential wallet, students and alumni can prove their educational credentials on the spot to prospective employers, institutions, and others, worldwide.
