New! Graduation Verification Service

We are excited to announce the launch of the Graduation Verification Service, a new service by MyCreds Verify™, which is now available to third party verifiers with records from our first post-secondary partner, Toronto Metropolitan University. More organizations will join soon.

Turn Academic Stories into Career & Further Education Opportunities with Profiles

MyCreds™ provides a powerful platform for learners to centralize and share their academic achievements and other credentials. We are excited to announce our soon to be launched Profiles feature within MyCreds™. This innovation gives learners more control in telling their own academic story and converting their credentials into opportunities.  

Profiles will let learners:  

  • Highlight skills, awards, and credentials on their own terms   
  • Improve articulation and recognition for non-traditional learning   
  • Enhance learner agency through abilities like custom sections and selective and bundled sharing of more than one credential to the same receiver   
  • Manage document access and track engagement   
  • Create customized portfolios combining several documents into a single package to send to specific employers, scholarship agencies, and others

In short, Profiles will put learners in the driver’s seat to control their academic narrative through MyCreds™. Learners decide what documents and badges go into their Profiles, how it can be accessed and how it gets shared.

Canada Caps International Student Numbers

The Canadian government, through Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), has announced a new policy to stabilize the growth of international student numbers.  Please keep in mind that you can deliver documents to learners through MyCreds™ to satisfy the IRCC requirements. 

With MyCreds™, schools can easily deliver officially verified offer letters, attestation letters, confirmations of enrolment and graduation verifications directly to government to support the study permit and immigration process. MyCreds™ already works with governments and is therefore well positioned to work with more departments should they wish to become official issuers or receivers of the attestation letter or other documents.  

Document Expansion

Consider expanding the types of documents you provision to learners on the network. This is easy to do by contacting MyCreds ™ ZenDesk support and providing templates of the documents you wish to add. We can easily help you get set up in less than one week. We also encourage you to move to a higher level of onboarding and to launch XML. This is strongly recommended to enhance connectivity and automation.

Become a Receiver to Quickly Sort, Manage, Lookup & Receive Documents

As a MyCreds™ Receiver, your organization will be provided with a secure portal to receive documents. Learners share their official documents directly to the portal instead of sending links to their documents. Once received, your organization will be able to view, manage and download documents from the portal. Learn more about how to become a Receiver 

 

 

Updated “How-to” Videos Now Available

The MyCreds™ platform has evolved since its inception in 2020. Continuous improvement is our hallmark approach as we work to support our members. Our support team has started work to update all the “How To” videos to reflect these changes. 

The following three updated videos are now available: 

  1. How to share to a recipient’s emai 
  2. How to share to a receiving organization 
  3. How to pay for shares 

There is also a “How to” Tour within Learner wallets to help navigate the platform.

Groningen Declaration Network 13th Annual Meeting, San Diego, CA | October 7 - 9, 2024

The genesis of MyCreds™ stemmed from the Groningen Declaration Network (GDN). Each year, stakeholder representatives from over 100 organizations who take part in the Groningen Declaration Network, gather at the GDN Annual Meeting to share, learn and lead discussions on developing capabilities, policies, and technical platforms to improve data exchange as a support to citizen and learner mobility.
